Research

The Earnshaw lab’s scientific goal is to understand how chromosomes are assembled and segregated

during mitosis. Understanding this fascinating process requires integrating diverse

methodologies including vertebrate cell genetics, cell-free biochemical analysis, cutting-edge

proteomics, genomics, and diverse light and electron microscopy methods.
